AAA discounts with DU?

Can you get the AAA package discount and the January special offers if you book with DU or another travel agent? The triple AAA package seems like a good deal, but would also like the perks of DU...like them making PS and booking tours, etc.

I cannot answer this with certainty, but my guess would be that DU or other agencies will not book AAA packages. Those packages are offered by the AAA Travel Agency. It would be as if DU ran a special and someone asked AAA if they would book the DU special.

I'm not so sure. The first time I booked with DU, I dimly remember being asked if I had AAA and had some conversation with the agent about AAA discounts. I suggest e-mailing DU to ask - you have nothing to lose!

DU is using my AAA for a discount on my reservations - but it was not a AAA package, just room only.

I just finished getting this kind of mess straightened out. DU can book your room-only reservation w/ the AAA discount, but cannot book a package and include the dicount, too. If you want the package, you will have to book through AAA. I started my planning with DU and really hated giving up Sue Ellen, but I wanted to be sure I at least got the 15% off my room in case I missed out on a later code.

Daisy's mom is correct. DU can book room only AAA rates, but only AAA agencies can book the AAA packages.
