AAA discounts and the DDP?

I just noticed in my AAA vouchers that I have a discount for WPE (10%) and Earl of Sandwich (20%).

I guess this is a stupid question, but I'm wondering if you are on the DDP and going through AAA, is it worth it to pay OOP to get this discount? I'm just trying to figure out how or why I'd take advantage of it.

I have never heard of the AAA vouchers which offer a discount for food.
My guess is you may use those if for whatever reason you wanted to buy from those places over and above what you get already on the DDP.

If you're on the dining plan, why would you need to pay oop?? Unless you have too many meals used with your ddp credits, then why would you pay for anything else?

House of Blues also provides a discount for AAA. Though not a voucher, you just show your AAA card. 20% off lunch and 10% off dinner after 4:00. There is no lunch or dinner menu, they are the same. So the lunch discount is a better deal as the entrées are the same and the portions identical.

Last year these discounts were part of the AAA Diamond Rewards card (or whatever it is now called) We used the 20% at Earls and it was worth it.

I guess I am just thinking out loud and wondering whether I should pay OOP to get the deal, and use my dining credits for something else. I don't think I will though. I'm having a hard enough time using the CS credits that I have.
