Hi everyone my question is I have an annual pass so i am hoping for those rates for our Aug 2005 stay at WL . Can I book the room with a AAA discount now if I don't have a AAA membership right now. Money is tight right at the moment so I would like to put as little down as I can. I would buy a AAA membership last minute if I could not add a Ap code.

You can call and see, but when I made my ressie they asked for my AAA membership number (I was booking WL for Aug). I've found this happening more and more lately. It can't hurt to try, but most likely you'll need the card at check in, so don't forget to join if codes don't come out.

Good Luck :goodvibes

They always asked for my number, and if I remember correctly, the reservation will be made in the members name, or when they ask for the names of those in your party, one must be a member. Just give AAA a call, they'll tell you the procedure.

Huskies90-

Here is what happened to me. I knew I was getting AAA because we decided to get our auto insurance through them. But it wasn't going to be for another month until our current auto policy expired.

I used my moms AAA card with her number to book my room and get the discount, after getting my own AAA card I called CRO and gave them my AAA number as my mother won't be there to check in which would make it impossible for us to get the discount. So he noted it on my reservations and said that he can't delete the first number and that when I check in and they see that the numbers don't match to tell the people at check in to read further in the notes to see MY AAA number listed.

He said they might get skeptical when they see your card and the numbers don't match since my moms number would appear first but to tell them to read further in the notes and it would show my AAA number.

Now if I would have known this I would have waited until I got my own AAA card but I was anxious to get my room reserved and feel like things are getting finalized. It might be a hassle at check in but hind sight is 20/20. I would suggest waiting until you get your own card to save any possible hassle.

I didn't have to have it when I just re-booked our hotel with the AAA discount (none were available the first few times I called). Yes, they did ask for the number, but I said that I didnt have it yet, and they said to just be sure to have it at check in...piece of cake! :)

Yes all you have to do is tell them that you want to have your AAA discount applied to your ressie and then at the time of check-in you may have to show your card for final processing. I used it for PC and the rate I received was $84.00 a nite as opposed to $99.00 w/o it. The down side it can only be used for room rates only. Have fun and enjoy your trip.
