I'm certainly no expert at this, but I got a quote from them on several rooms for December 2012. On Art of Animation Disney's website gave me $6000 for the package/dates we want. AAA quoted me $5700. The quote they gave me for Pop and POFQ was the same as the website. The agent said sometimes they get random good deals for OKW or SSR studios, but not when we checked. I don't think it's a set thing. It seemed to be some availability at different discounts, kinda like airline seats.

I booked with AAA and my discount was 15% off. My travel dates are November 20-26, which is during Thanksgiving week. An earlier 10% off pin code blacked out Thanksgiving day and the day before and after Thanksgiving; however, the AAA discount did not black out any dates during my stay.

When I called AAA a few weeks ago about moderate discounts for the summer they told me it will be 10%.

We are staying POR Nov3-10. Our AAA discount was giving us $200+ off our room only rate (15%).

We decided to do a MYW package thru AAA which saves us about the same: $216.

I like the maps and discounts AAA offers. Plus the diamond parking voucher will hopefully work out well for us.

I use AAA to book everytime I go. You cannot use the AAA discount in conjunction with another discount i.e free dining. My AAA agent always lets me know what the best deals are and if any better deals come out after I have booked.

Booked at WL over Labor Day weekend and got a AAA discount of 15%. I think my TA said values were 10% at that time.

My AAA uses the same policies as Disney. If further than 45 days out no fee to change. Within 45 days there may be a change fee. Different offices may have different policies I would ask them before you book to make sure. Since they are not charging any fees at AAA they should not charge cancellation fees.

WEll, I don't use the travel agency, I only call WDW and request the AAA rate when there is nothing else available for discounts. Then you absolutely can call back WDW and apply a new rate code if one becomes available.. Then you just don't get the AAA rate anymore. For example, last trip I booked with a AAA 10percent discount on a moderate. But then when free dining came up, I called back and went with that instead, but now my room rate was not discounted, but it was better for us. So, it's better than nothing.
