AAA discount?

So my brother and his wife have AAA and are going to use the discount they get towards a Disney cruise this summer....so my brother will be using his credit card to pay for the entire cruise, while my hubby and I give him our half for the trip...

He works all day, along with his wife who is a teacher and asked me to speak with their AAA rep to get quotes and make plans..

Well I just got off the phone with her and she says, "Okay so for your brother and his wife the price will be 3177.XX and for you and your husband it will be 3417.XX??

She had to call me back before I could ask her why the price difference between the two if it will be the exact same cruise, and that my brother was paying for it??

Anyone know or encounter issues like this before??

I'm thinking maybe brother can only book 1 room? As a solution, you could always become a AAA member yourself. I believe it's only $50 for the year.
