AAA discount??

Is there a AAA discount for Disney theme parks? If so about what percentage could I expect 3%, 5%?

Looking to buy a 5 day MYW with hopper option.

But the resort discount can be very nice with AAA...I called Disney directly and got $37 a day off the price of a moderate. And she said to call back and check closer to our arrival in December, as there may be more discounts!

Tickets....not so much. Though one perk if you book a Package....hotel and tickets through the AAA office or website, then you can get a special parking pass which gets you a closer parking space, so no tram needed. This sounded cool, but the restrictions on ordering from AAA turned me off....any changes or cancellation and there was a big fee. I don't want to have to pay a huge fee if the economy tanks so badly that we're not able to go 5 months from now (like if DH's business goes under....he's not in danger but definitely feeling effects right now). With Disney I did the room only and can cancel 5 days before arrival and get my deposit back in full. I'm considering adding the dining plan, but if I do that then my date to cancel is 45 days before arrival...so I figure I'll wait and add dining the week before we arrive.

thanks for the replies. The price for the 5 day MYW ticket with the hopper option is $276.90 with tax. AAA discount is $10.90.

You might want to compare your ticket price from AAA with undercovergourist.com. They are pretty competitive and the price they quote includes tax and shipping. It's like the chicken soup when you're sick, it couldn't hurt!

I just checked and the price was $2.05 cheaper than AAA.

Also, the AAA tickets will be even higher in price since sales tax hasn't been added yet. The UCT ticket price includes sales tax and shipping!

On the AAA page it says that the price is tax inclusive. It is $3.95 for shipping though. I don't know if you can buy it right from one of their offices to avoid the shipping charge.

If the price with AAA didn't include the tax the price would be more than buying directly from Disney.
