AAA Discount

As a AAA card holder are you automatically going to get a discounted room regardless of when you book or which resort you book it? Especially if you book your trip through a AAA travel agent.

Or are there limited numbers of rooms available with the discounted rate?

There are a limited amount of rooms available at the discount, just like any other discount Disney can apply to your reservation.

If you book online with Disney directly and want the AAA discount, they ask for your card number. If you book with AAA directly, they go into the Disney system a special way to view the AAA rates. You can book a room only reservation with any travel agent or Disney directly.

If you want the AAA applied to a full package, the only way to do that is with AAA Travel.

Misunderstoodlilo's statements about AAA are very accurate. Sometimes AAA is the only way to get any kind of discounted room especially for Deluxe or villas and you must call months and months in advance.

Last year I booked a pkg with AAA for July because there were no other discounts available. This year I am thinking about the end of Sept. and I was wondering, if I book through AAA can I get free dining? How does that work with the discount?

If you book through AAA and free dining exists, you CAN book with AAA; however, you will not get any additional AAA discount. That means you'd pay the same price as you would booking with CRO or any other travel agent.

You cannot stack discounts. AAA is one discount, and free dining (or hoppers and water parks or whatever else Disney is doing at that time) is another discount.

If you book through an AAA agent, it's really easy to tell if you're getting the AAA rate. Just call CRO directly and compare the prices. I did--and my AAA agent came out about $400 less than CRO.
