AAA discount

Please let me know what I'm doing wrong. In the past I was able to make a "room only" reservation and use my AAA card for a discount. I now have reservations at the Polynesian Dec. 8th and they won't let me use my card for the discount. They keep telling me AAA discount rooms are not available right now. I'm confused, is there only certain times when they are available?

There are usually only a select number of rooms available for use with the AAA code. That doesn't mean there aren't rooms available ar rack rate. The same applies for AP discounts.

Only a limited number of rooms are made available at the reduced AAA rate at any given resort on any given date. If they are telling you that no AAA room rates are currently available for your resort and dates, then most likely all of the rooms that had originally been placed in the "AAA pool" have already booked.

All AAA rooms may be booked, while rack rate rooms remain available. Same is true for most any discounts or codes that are released. Availability is limited, and if you don't book your room ressies early enough you may miss out on the lower rates.

Call AAA and book directly through them.
