I want to book the Fort for February 2015. If I want to try and get the AAA discount do I book through Disney or AAA? Can I do it online? What is the discount?

Thank You

Jhuff,

When I've called and made my own reservation, I've asked for (and frequently gotten) an AAA although I did not get one on this most recent trip. Remember discounts are used to fill potentially unused space so during busy times there will be fewer and those that are available then will be small (5% is the smallest offered).

Some folks have had success in getting a discount after the initial reservation is made and request denied. Keep calling, trying to get one. During non-busy times, the greatest discount has been 20% that I've heard of. Discounts may not be available for all site types either.

2015 rates won't be set until this summer but you can still make a ressie based on 2014 rates. So you may not be able to get a AAA discount at first. Until rates are official you can't book online - has to be by phone.

Also February when you're going is a split month. The first half (up to around Valentine's Day) is Value priced; the later half is Spring Break priced. Easier to get a discount in the first half than the second half.

So call, make a ressie at 2014 rates, then keep checking back (maybe looking at different site types), and try to snag one. The early birds get the worms on this one. :wave2:
