AAA discount question

How much of a discount does AAA give you for a package at Pop in July?

On the WDW website I get $1582.15. After AAA discount they quoted me $1459.05. I guess I thought it would be more than that.

You only get the discount on the room. 15% at a value during summer season so 15% of $109 + 12.5% sales tax would be about $15.23 per night.

How about if you want to book a package with the AAA discount...I know you have to book it through AAA in that case...but do they apply the discount to the dining and or ticket prices as well? or is the discount still only on the Room cost?

Just the room.

If you want dining the only way to get AAA discount on the room is to book a package with a AAA TA.

I have a room only ressie (2 rooms) at the POP this July and I only got 8.5% discount. I was kind of surprised, I assumed it would be the 15%. I booked directly through disney. I checked the AAA website and was quoted the same price.

We're saving a ton at the CR this Easter, so AAA more than paid for itself and we're saving approx $100 this summer for the 2 rooms for 5 nights.

I have a package booked for Dec. at the CR with MK view with DDP, 8 day basic passes with no hopper, and AAA saved me over $800.00.

That's pretty much what we got. On Mousesavers it says 15% off of Value during peak season.

For 8 nights at the Polynesian in July, park hoppers and DDP for 5 (3 adults, 2 kids), I saved close to $400 off the CRO rate.

You only save off the room portion, not the tickets or DDP.

Does you total include taxes? I would think that would be your difference.

Disney can apply a room only discount. Package discounts can only be gotten by booking through AAA.
