AAA discount on tickets.

My friend is a AAA member and we are going to WDW at the same time. She has offered to buy our tickets at the same time she buys theirs. Will this work?

I'm not sure why it wouldn't. We are members of AAA but have never bought our tickets from them. We renew our AP's at the renewal rate.

My understanding is that AAA may or may not have the ticket media at any particular agent's office. If they do, you buy the actual media from them. There is no bio-metric scan for park hoppers or daily admission. Therefore, there would be no way to determine if you were the purchaser at the Disney Store, Disney Website, Park Entrance, your hotel lobby ticket counter or if you received them as a premium for touring a time share property.

If the AAA Agent doesn't have the media they don't have the tickets to sell unless they are willing to purchase them on the member's behalf to resell to the member. Typically they buy a set number of ticket media each year and when they run out they run out. If they have them left from a previous year they usually sell them at the previous year's price 'til they run out.

Your friend can buy the tickets for you. I have bought many theme park tickets at AAA. They don't have your name on them. If you don't want to buy from AAA, the Disney Store now sells them. AAA does not sell 7 day Park Hopper Plus tickets (so I had to buy mine through Disney).

Each state's AAA works out their own deal with WDW for what tickets they offer and at what price. So in some states AAA ofter 7 day PHP and some don't. In some states the prices are really good and other states they are about the same as what you would get if you just bought them in advance so just make sure you do your research.
