AAA discount during Christmas week?

Does anyone know if AAA discount is ever a possiblity during Christmas week. We've just booked 12/23-12/31 and tried to use our AAA, but CM said it wasn't available. Is this standard because it's holiday season?

First, I would try calling back and speaking with another CM, to be sure. Also, it could be that there are no discounts available at the resort you want. That's what happened with me. I'm not sure about dates after the 24th, but I have Pop booked with a AAA rate 12/17-12/24. If discounts are not available for after the 25th, I would try 2 separate reservations .

It looks like the AAA discount is available for 11/27 - 12/19/05 (value season). But no AAA discounts for dates after that in December.

Zippehsmom, maybe they let you have the discount for the full length of your stay because you're checking in on a date within that range.

WDWBetsy, I think you're right. I did not even think about the fact that we are checking in during value season still.

We purposely planned our vacation to check in at the Poly on the 19th. We are paying $258 per night, through the 27th. If we checked in the next day, our rate would be about $475!!!
