I just got my AAA Diamon parking pass. I have never used one before and am looking for some info on it from those who have used one before.
Who do you need to show the pass to, the person at the toll booth or the parking attendant when you get into the parking lots?
How close are the AAA Diamond parking spots? Have you ever not been able to park there with the pass? Do they fill up fast? Thanks!

Can't answer all your questions but I have used the Diamond Pass in the past and have walked from where we parked to the front gate. Another time we used it, we were just a little further away and had to take the tram.

If I remember correctly, and my memory's getting really bad, we looked for the AAA Diamond road sign and then showed the Diamond pass to the parking staff.

We used AAA Diamond parking a few weeks ago. Either you use the AAA signs or you tell the person who is showing you where to park. They will tell you where to go.

A hint....If you get to the parks very early, you can get better parking spaces then the Diamond parking. We had 8:10 a.m. breakfasts twice at MK and the regular guest parking was closer than the Diamond parking. Have fun! We just got back and I am jealous already of those going!!! I want to go back!!!

We just put our voucher on the dash so that it could be seen from the window. I would ask at the parking booth where AAA parking was. Each park had a different color line to follow to the AAA parking area.

At Magic Kingdom, after you walk underneath the roadway going to the parking lot, you go to your left. The first section is the handicap parking. Just to the east of there is the AAA parking.

Epcot is right up front and just east of the enterance. The day we went to Epcot, we were in the second parking space and we got there 15 minutes before the park opened.

At MGM, the AAA parking is right behind the handicap parking, right in front of the enterance.

At Animal Kingdom, when walking to the parking lot from the enterance, go to the left. The AAA parking is right after the handicap parking.

We used the AAA parking every day for the seven days we were there in June and never once rode a tram. It was so nice!

Do you have to be purchasing a package from AAA or is it Ok to just be a member?

We are members, and it would be great to have that option. :sunny:

You just have to be a memeber. The only think I purchased through AAA this year was my park hopper passes.

I just asked my agent for a parking voucher. I kept it on the dash of my car for the entire trip.

It really depends on the AAA office. Some require you purchase a package to get the pass.

My AAA Office would not issue a parking pass.....Only with the purchase of tix. I wanted to purchase tickets, but they only had 3 or 5 day passes. We need seven day passes.

They were also really cranky. One of those places where it seems like everyone just hates their job. :sad2:

Oh well. I was extra nice despite their poor attitudes.

If anyone has a parking pass they want to send me that they are finished with, I would truly appreciate it. :)
