Has anyone used one? Are they worth it? I just bought one last week off of EBAY and am wondering now (little too late I guess) if its worth the money. We're staying at SSR but we're driving down so we'll just skip the bus and drive to the parks each day.

Well, at MK it isn't really worth it. If you took the bus to MK from SSR you would be dropped off very close to the front gates. But, if you drive, you have to use the main lot at the TTC. Yes, you may have slightly preferential parking but from what I understand it really isn't all that great. Then, you have to ride the tram, then board either the ferry or the monorail to get to MK.
At the other parks, it may be better. I for one, hate to see people buying these passes. They are given out by AAA as a perk, so for someone to make a buck by selling what they got for nothing just irks me. But, I don't drive in WDW, so I could be missing some advantage to these parking passes.

Do you still have to pay to park with these passes? If you do I don't see much of a benefit at all.

Since they are staying at SSR there would be no charge for parking at the Parks. The AAA pass does not give you free park just but staying on the resort does.

I'm using AAA parking for the first time in October hopefully it will have some value.

Well, from what I have heard- you park as close as you can get - like right near the handicap spots. But I thought if you park in the AAA spots- you can avoid the tram??? Thats the whole reason I got the pass- we have a double stroller and its such a pain to take everything out and fold it etc.

Yes, the AAA parking areas are right behind the handicap parking in each park, and it does let you walk with a stroller instead of using the trams. We've used it in the past for the same reason - hated having to fold a stroller to ride the trams. Be aware that the spots do fill up, so if you're arriving later in the day, the spaces may be full. Also, we've found that arriving at park opening at Epcot, that the regular parking was almost always closer than the AAA. The AAA parking in Epcot is over to the left by the kennels - not necessarily beside the closest handicap parking there. At AK, MK, and Disney studios, it is just beyond the handicap area.

Ok great, thanks for the info! So I guess the only place it wouldnt benefit us is Epcot.

Thanks for the clarification! I knew there was an advantage but wasn't all that sure about what it was. Is it then, when not using the tram, that you have to walk underneath some overpass or such?? Just curious.

Why did you buy one?
If you are a AAA member you can request one for free. That's how I got mine for this trip.

I called AAA and they said the only way to get one is to book your Disney vacation through them. I didnt book it with them so I ended up just buying it on ebay.
