AAA Code-?

When did this booking procedure become so confusing for me?! I used to call, use a code, and go to WDW happily at a discount!

Now here is my ?-I booked a package for my son for July at WL, dining and tickets included, package price $2877, no insurance. Ordered a planning DVD for him in his name (he resides at my home) using my e-mail address (his choice) and he just got an e-mail with a pin # for a room only discount. I just got off the phone with CR and they told me his dates are blacked out. Okay, no problem. I forgot to mention he is a AAA member when I booked, could she check for room disc. She said she could, that it would not be much of a discount, and here's my real question, she said he would not be able to book and add on the dining pkg if he books room only with AAA disc. Can anyone verify if this is correct? Can't a room only reserv be made with dining and tickets added on?

I appreciate any input~also, is this a good package price he has?

Sorry you cannot add the dining plan with a AAA room only discount. You can book a AAA package thru your local AAA and get the dining plan with that but not just a straight room only ressie, wish you could.
