Hello,
I'm planning a trip for Jan 25-feb 1 06. I'd like to book two rooms at POP using the AAA discount. DH and I are going with another couple. The other couple has AAA. So my questions are: can I call CRO and book the AAA discount for 2 rooms or only through AAA? I assume that our friend will have to call them. If I can book through CRO do i need to give them our friends' name?

I know this is stupid, but I'm afraid our friends will mess up the reservation since I've done all the research.
Thanks!

Thanks!

As long as you're booking room-only (not adding on the dining plan), you can book through CRO to get the AAA discount (subject to availability). You might be asked for the AAA membership number, so if you could get that from your friend - that might be a good idea. They'll just need to show their AAA card when you all check-in.

Hope this helps!

I'm pretty sure. When you call CRO, ask the CM to verify.

This may be too late for you but yesterday I booked our "room only" rooms for January at the Pop. We are two couples going together and I have the AAA discount. I called Central Reservations, checked at the AAA office in our town and got onto the AAA online site. It was much cheaper on the AAA online site. I got std rooms for $63 + tax at the Pop. I had to log on with my AAA info but you could get that from your friends. AAA told me it was fine to use the rate for ALL travelers even if they didn't All have the AAA membership (as long as one did). I did have to book two different reservations to get two rooms and then I e-mailed and had them connect our reservations and put the Magical Express on them. I was HAPPY!

Wow! thanks for such a detailed response!! It wasn't too late!

CRO= Central Reservations something--it's Disney's reservation center. You call them to book room-only reservations.
