AAA and free dining?

I read a thread on another site that said the free dining was available if you booked thru AAA , and still got the AAA discount! True? Does anyone know about this firsthand? TIA!!! ( I LOVE the new smiley!!!)

Sorry, I booked a room package with free dining from my AAA travel agent. I was there when she called Disney. She asked if I could get the free dining and a AAA discount and the CM told her "Sorry no other discounts with free dining." My TA asked if I wanted the AAA dicount or the free dining.
Of course my reply was free dining.
If you book through AAA it does not hurt to ask again, but that's what I was told.

Staying 3 nights at Pop at end of August with free dining and AAA discount. My AAA agent had no problem booking this and said she has done a huge volume of bookings because of the free discount. I will call to reverify Monday morning because now you all have me worried. I will post Monday with the reply I get.

We booked our Aug. trip in January through AAA (WL stay, tickets and dining). Then, the free dining was announced during the time we were going.

I called our AAA TA right away and she called Disney. We were told the same thing - choose AAA room discount or free dining, but not both.

To us, it was a NO brainer as the total cost of our trip is now $680 cheaper with the free dining.

I believe it is one discount per customer. Figure out which saves you the most and what works best for your family. That's what we did and we're thrilled about it!!

I booked with AAA for myAugust trip. YOu only get 1 discount. Either room or free dining. In my case the discounted room saved me more money.
