AAA and Free dining?

Is it possible to get the AAA discount on the room only portion of the MYW + free dining package? I didn't think it was possible. But, I have since read that people(for 2007 FDP) were able to get the AAA discount with the free dining.

I went through AAA for my free dining plans. I was told that I could either have the AAA discount on the room OR the free dining plan. Strangely enough, free dining with an extra day came $20 cheaper than the AAA room rate with no dining. Not complaining, though.

To the best of my knowledge, and despite what you read, nobody got both an AAA (or any) discount PLUS Free Dining in 2007. Or 2006. 2005, on the other hand...

Thanks, that's what I thought. Some people were pretty insistent they got the discount and free dining though.

I tried this an my AAA agent said..one or the other.So I stuck with my discount that saved me over $700 instead of the free dining which only would have saved me over $400
