AAA and Disney Visa

I am trying to decide if I should get an AAA membership before I book our trip to the CR for June 2008. If I use an AAA TA to book my trip and get an AAA room discount, can I still use my Disney Visa to pay for it and get the 6 months 0% no payment plan through Visa? If I can't get the Dis Visa benefit, is it still worth going the AAA discount? We will be doing an early June 6 night stay. Thanks!

Yes you can use the Disney Visa and get 0% financing if you book a vacation package through AAA. I've done it twice.

The amount you save using AAA depends on the season and hotel category. For us, it's close to $400 for eight nights at the Polynesian in July. If there are other Disney offers out there (like free dining or free hoppers or something), you'll likely get a better deal that way than with the AAA rate, but generally, AAA will save you quite a bit. AAA is between 10% and 20% off the hotel portion of the package.

Tam1067 is correct, we are doing that very same thing. We actually charged it this week so we can get the rewards points to use on the trip in August. I believe the 6 mos. starts when you charge it and not when you take the actual trip.
The AAA room discount was worth it to me to join...We paid $75 for three AAA members and are saving $300 off our room rates....
