Is it possible to book your room through AAA to get the discounted rate and when and if the free Dining Plan happens late March/April... will Disney honor it if you call them directly?

We're really debating on whether to just go to AAA and have them make arrangements... so far I've just called WDW myself for the room ressie.

Any ideas? :confused3

the way you worded things it wont work. But what you want is somewhat possible.

If you book a room only reservation you can get the aaa discount either through aaa or disney.

If you want dining (free or not) you must have a package booked meaning your room must be reserved as a package which is room + tickets (and dining). However you can book it as a package then add dining (free dining if availability) later.

To get dining and an aaa discount you must book through aaa.

Once you make a reservation through aaa you can not access it yourself through disney. You must call aaa for changes.

You can not add dining to a room only reservation. Room only reservations can not be made into packages and since dining means package you wouldnt be able to do that.

As for honoring the aaa discount, in the past free dining has been pretty clearly worded that you wouldnt be able to keep your aaa discount and have it however some people seemed to be able to in last year.

we like booking through aaa. It really is only the room/package they are booking and you can book all dining adrs, etc yourself. Then we get the aaa bonuses.
Hmmm. did I miss anything?
