AAA Agent Question

How do you pick a "good" AAA agent and do you realy need one in order to get the AAA discount? Is there a AAA web page for Disney Resevations to check rates? We live west of Indy ... Do I have to pick a AAA agent in the area?
(Thinking about booking room only res. for late May for a family of five (Riverside))

You can use any AAA agency - but you don't need to book through them to get a room-only discount. I had problems with getting accurate package quotes from local Indy AAA agents, so I ended up using a sweet, knowledgeable AAA agent in South Carolina (based on recommendations of fellow DISers).

You can check AAA rates at AAA's website, and you can book a AAA discounted room via that method, by calling Disney reservations, or by calling a AAA travel agency.

If you are interested in a AAA package (room, tickets and dining) AND also want the AAA discount (if available), you must book directly with a AAA travel agent.

I am also having a hard time with my AAA TA. She seems very unaware of all the discounts for Disney. I would love to find a differeny agent that can help me with some knowledge.

When you look for WDW rates online, make sure you have AAA login. Also use the location of Lake Buena Vista for hotel search.

Room only AAA rates can be booked with Disney directly or any TA (as well as AAA). AAA packages can only be with an AAA agent but it does seem the codes are better, so you may want to use an agent that will automatically look for lower rates for you
