AA food/film..?

we are travelling with AA from heathrow in august is there any way in which i can check films/entertainment on the plane, and can anyone tell me what the food is like on AA? its a long flight with 3 kids need to know what i am letting myself in for

Food is food. You will get a choice - usually pasta or meat - with a side salad, desert and bread. About two hours before landing in the U.S. pizza is served.

If you are on a flight with a 777, you have on-demand movies and NBC programming.

I fly with my 2 kids (ages 7 and 9) on AA from LHR to the US 2-3 times a year. So I'm pretty familiar with what you'll be going through! If you are flying to Miami or New York, you should be on a 777. Everyone has their own TV and there are lots of choices of both movies and TV shows. They should have several 'kid' movies in there as well. If for some reason you're flying on a 767 there is no indvidual TV per seat (which makes for a VERY LONG flight!!).

As for the food, my older child picks at it a little but my younger one doesn't eat much at all (and he's really not that picky of an eater). It's not much food either. These days, I usually buy them something at the airport ahead of time to play it safe. I also bring a few snacks and bottle of water for them.
