Who can remember the code that you have to input into dreams to get the AA discount? I tried ringing up WDW but the person I spoke to didn't seem to understand that AA members get the same discount

Don't mention AA, it just confuses them.

When you call ask if there are any "triple A" discounts available which can be applied to your reservation.

If you are asked for proof of your AAA membership upon check-in (which is unlikely), just show your AA membership card and bring their attention to the ARC Europe logo on the reverse.

If I were you, check the disney.co.uk site because even with the AAA discount (typically 10%) it's working out cheaper for most times on the uk site.
