AA Changed my flight!

One of my best friends, my DS 16 and I are taking a cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale during school vacation. We bought the air last summer because there was no trending downward during the school vacation months. I was happy with what we paid on Expedia but not terribly happy with the flights. Longer layovers, etc. I was notified by Expedia Sunday night that our flights had been changed by the airline. Flights that I wasn't crazy about turned into just awful. Short layover through ORD and our 11:30 am flight home on a Sunday became a 4:30 flight with late arrival home. We wouldn't get home until midnight! I called AA and told them that our flights were impossible. and we now have the BEST FLIGHTS. They are the ones I would have booked but didn't want to pay for. Yippee! I can't ask for any better than that.
