A Word Of Warning!!

My husband called to make several of our ADR's. I then called to add another one. Being the stickler I am to detail, I asked the CM to go over the ADR's that were already made. To my shock, the CM said, "hmmm...I have no other ones for you." All the ADR's my husband HAD made were gone! :scared1: Luckily I had a CM that was very nice and willing to help in any way possible. It turned out that they had them reserved-in someone elses name! Being an obseesed stickler to detail paid off for us-big time! We were able to make new ADR for the restaurants we wanted-just did not get the times we wanted. But that's ok. My advice? Make sure that when you make an ADR, the CM goes over all of your info-name, phone number, resort, everything!
 
they had one of our's down for Aug. 27th instead of Sept. 27th so she was able to fix it. thanks to someone else posting about the same thing, i had asked when i called and cancelled one of our AR's, and that is what came up.
thank goodness, we were still able to get the same time, so that was a good thing, but just be careful, and double check, cause these employees are awfully busy right now, and they are human and can make mistakes. it only takes a minute to have everything double checked, and saves you a headache or someone being disappointed in the long run.

Yep, 2 of ours were missing, and with the confirmation # I was able to find out that our phone number was listed as: 555-555-5555. Hmmm, wonder if she asked me my number?
 
Thanks for the warning, I do need to call and make a change so I will verify my other ADR's then!
 

I always go over my info before I hang up then I call to confirm and verify a couple times before our vacation. I've had my dining reservations deleted in the past so I'm really careful now.

Happened to me too!

I called to change mine only to find out the first ones did not exist! I had the conf# too, but were not in the system.


What is going on???

This was asbout 2 weeks ago.
 
I've never had a problem, but I usually call to verify my ADR's just to be sure. Up until a few months ago, I rarely heard of anyone having problems with their PS's, although it did happen every once in a while. I think the increase in problems has to be related to the increase in the numbers of people who are now making ADR's thanks to the MYW dining plan.
 
I've also had that problem. I've called to make a new ADR and come to find out that I don't have others in the system. I ask them to check on the others and am told that there aren't any!!! But I have the conf. numbers also. Put in another name once again. I've called to change ADRs and found that they still have some in the system that I cancelled a month before!! Now I call at least once a month before I go, after I make the original ADRs just to check to see that they are still there.
 
Thanks for the heads up. I had planned on calling and verifying anyway as time got closer, but to be on the safe side, I called today.

I guess I was a lucky one. They had every reservation as expected.
 
I work for AAA and got nervous seeing these posts about missing PS CN's. Just called and the ones I made are all set. That is odd though!
 
One thing I have read is that if you cancel your resort reservation, then it will cancel your ADR's. If you made a major change to your resort reservation, it may be possible that the CM did a cancel of your old reservations and created a new one which would have cancelled the ADR's.

Just as a matter of habit, I always double check reservations and all information before leaving on a trip.
