A "Wonder"-ful NYE in Mexico 12/26/11

My dd's will be 17 & 13 at the time of the trip! We just returned from the 12/18-12/29 cruise and had a great time. We decided NYE was a trip we wanted to do with Disney

Yes I agree the FE does sound like fun but we cannot do it. We have international flights to deal with and are traveling around America after the cruise and just don't have the room in our luggage.

It looks like a lot of the regular cruisers are on the Christmas cruise prior to our cruise as their FE is in full swing!

I can see why the FE idea won't work for you. I'll bet you are having to pack for all kinds of weather. What sites in America are you going to visit?

This is our fourth cruise and my second time posting in a cruise meet group. Last cruise our kids were messaging with other kids from the cruise the year before we left. I wish they could be doing that this time, but then I'd have to ruin the surprise!

I'm not a single parent, but I do have a 9 year old son and an 18 month old son. You both will have a blast! There are many chances for bonding time, and also great things for you to do independently. How old is your son?

My 13 daughter has actually decided to stay home with her dad. My husband and I will have our 3 and 6 yo with us. I wish she would go and think she will be bummed she didn't take the opportunity. I would just check in with port adventures when you get on the boat.

Anyone! please help! I do not know how to access the list of people who are participating in the fish extender thing and I would like to participate. Please someone post how to play this game starting from point A to point B please! I need to know how much stuff to bring to put in the extenders! Thank you!

It looks like the person who was going to organize the FE group has not posted for 10 months. Maybe she has made other plans, or maybe she hasn't looked on the board since it was inactive for long periods of time. In any case, if she is still cruising with us, I'll bet she wouldn't mind if someone else got the ball rolling. I don't think we have any meets organized either. Am I mistaken?

I'm sorry! By board I meant this thread for our NYE cruise. Oops- I need to pay more attention and get my terms right. I don't know if someone has taken over and started to form a list for the FE. I am not going to participate because I don't think I can get it all together in time.

Ok. I did a lot of reading last night and contacted some people who are going to help get this thing started. Since there is limited time I don't think the list will be that big but a small list will be good too! So hopefully it will be up in the next couple of days! So hope we can encourage some folks to participate!

I'm Deb and we will be on the same cruise.


I would like to participate in a meet if that's going to happen, it sounds like fun. I can't do the FE this trip due to flight luggage restrictions. We are already struggling with the fact that we are changing from international weight allowance, to domestic, while in America and I know I will be doing heaps of shopping! lol
