A Wii Question

For those of you lucky enough to already have one, I have a question.

Last year my girls got Dance Dance Revolution and played it in the upstairs playroom, where the PS2 was. They nearly came through the ceiling, as that room is directly above my dining room and every time they danced I could see my dishes trembling in the cabinet. So I made them move the PS2 downstairs, where they have happily danced all year.

But, since the price has dropped so significantly, Santa brought a new PS2 for the upstairs playroom this Christmas, which will be nice because I don't really want to have to listen to all the games being played in the middle of my den!!!

So, finally, here's the question - if we do ever find a Wii, how active is it and should it go up or downstairs? I don't mind them moving around but if there is a lot of jumping like DDR that will be an issue with the dinig room again, so it will have to go upstairs. If it's just a lot of physical activity swinging arms and such, I think it will be safe downstairs (which would be convenient for me to play during the day when everyone is at school!!)

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!!

You are active, but not jumping all over the place like you do with DDR. There is as much physical activity as you want there to be. You can get up and act like you are really playing tennis or you can just flick your wrist.

I would put it wherever you want it the most and move it if you decide you need to.

Basically you are swinging your arms and not jumping. I would think anything that needs a pad for the floor would be an issue for you, but I don't think any current Wii game would be bad.

I have a couple of other Wii threads with question/answers and NED has a new christmas thread up now too if you need any more info.

Thanks so much - I really appreciate it!!!!
