A Warning to Disney Resort Guests

Once upon a time, there were signs saying buses to resorts were for resort guests but they dropped that considering the resort restaurants are considered open to the public. And they probably figured out that allowing guests to resort hop makes them more likely to come back and try other places. I'd like to see just a little more security around the resorts, watching for that sort of thing and then trying to catch the perps who are doing it. When it happens, they need to robocall the rooms to say don't place orders based on flyers, come see the desk for a list of valid businesses who deliver.

The guard gates are checking for your reservation to give you access to your car for parking or loading/unloading. I don't think it's meant to put the hotels into even the slightest lockdown. Most hotels in the world allow people to walk in without demanding security checks.

For that reason, I don't have any expectation that they should restrict who walks in from the busses. Is that a security risk? Maybe. But so is doing anything these days where people are gathered. I would say be vigilant as always but don't let fear win out.
