A Waitress site

I heard it mentioned on tv last night, and checked it out.

There is a section where waiters/waitresses can annonymously post the worst tips they've ever recieved, and tell their horror stories of waiting on people. The offending customer is given the opportunity to apologize for the error in tipping, lol.

There are some nasties there (okay lots, lol), and I saw a few funny stories too.

One waiter overheard the following at a nearby table:

A customer complained that their potato was bad.
Their waiter picked up the potato, spanked it a few times while saying "bad potato, bad potato", then set it back on the customer's plate.
The customer proceeded to eat the potato without further complaint.

I think I know the site you are talking about. I saw it a couple weeks ago and it is funny. I must say that dealing with the public, especially some Celebrities, must be one tough job. There have been a few occassions when I have had to deal with people who could use a good spanking like that potato.

A few days after reading that website I was out with friends. One guy with us returned a plate of half eaten nachos to the kitchen, complaining that they had no cheese. I told him to never return a half eaten dish of food to the kitchen, you don't know what will happen. The nachos were returned, covered with cheese but I wouldn't eat any.

I try to be a good customer, and to take into account what the wait staff is in control of and what they are not.

We dine out alot and I really appreciate the work of waiters and waitresses. It takes something really, really bad to leave a bad taste in my mouth. (pun intended).
