Got it! My TA sent in the request and we only need the main name on the ressie. We have 12 for the repo and 11 for Alaska. I think we can have up to 14 but have to have 12 so we're there!

Gydell, thanks for doing this! I'm working too many hours, hard to adjust after a 6 day vacation but I will get you the info this weekend

We got a room with a balcony facing the water. We love the neighborhood. Woody and Tracy live nearby. We stayed in Torrence, the next town over, after the PC cruise. Why don't you book it too. We'll have another minimeet before getting onboard.

I have the Candy Cane Inn booked until the 26th when we move to the Doubletree at the port(unless Monica finds us a deal).

Near DL and the port....that's very wise. John likes to rent cars and drive....and I like to stay near the ocean. I loved CA when we were there after the PC....that was my first time. I'm excited to be going back. This time we'll be doing San Diego for one day, LA we're staying in and San Francisco on the cruise. That's perfect for me to explore more of CA. This will probably be my favorite part of the trip. I'm not too keen on going to Alaska....it's cold there. But I'm going to be with the greatest group of friends and to enjoy myself. I'm hoping to be amazed by Alaska and change my mind with a BBC in hand. haha.

I'm not too keen on going to Alaska....it's cold there. But I'm going to be with the greatest group of friends and to enjoy myself. I'm hoping to be amazed by Alaska and change my mind with a BBC in hand. haha.

Switch that drink out of a spiked hot coffee or chocolate beverage! Maybe hot chocolate with Frangelico...that sounds good!

Oh yea, it's cold there. I'm going to have to rethink my BBCs and Caribbean Lemonades. Hmmmm........ I like black coffee with Sambuca.

So I was on the WBTA thread where there are a LOT of Thieves travelling.....anyway, they have a Princess and a Villian themed night. I'm so jealous. How fun!!

So I called DCL and asked what the themes will be for the LA Repo and Alaskan.....nope....too far in advance, not determined yet. BOOHOO!!

I told the representative that DCL needs to keep up with the DISers....we like to plan a year in advance and need to buy things for the themed nights early. She said I can email guest communications and she gave me an address. I was only half kidding. I'm not going to complain to them. But I would like to know. I'll write to them and ask when we might find out.

Same here, Deb. We first went to LA for New Year 2005 but only went to DL. Then we spent some time there in 2008 after the last Mexican Riviera cruise (LOVED that cruise!!!) and saw more of LA...

This time we have 6 nights booked at the Grand Californian Villas and plan on using that as a base. Can't wait to see all the new stuff at DL (World of Color and the changes to California Adventure) - PLUS their Food & Wine Festival is on too. We may try and get down to San Diego this time, too..

It'll be fab to be back on the Wonder too... As for the overnight stop in San Fran - well, I am beyond excited!!!

IKWYM. That's why I didn't fancy the early Alaska cruise TBH - I'm so scared of the cold!!! We're on the last one in late August and I keep having second thoughts. We WILL NOT cancel, however!!! I wimped out of the DCL June Baltic Cruise because I was worried about the weather and all the trip reports I read were amazing -I could've kicked myself!! That's never happening again...
