A Very Proud Mom

MY DS was pumping gas at a local station when a woman drove in, jumped out of her car and started screaming that her father wasn't breathing. My DS quickly yelled for someone to call 911 and pulled a non breathing, pulseless 85 year old man out of the passenger seat of his car, put him on the ground and began CPR without hesitation. Another by stander soon joined him and together they restored his heart beat and respirations. The ambulance arrived on the scene and took him to the hospital. Because of confidentiality issues, we don't know if he ultimately made it but he left for the hospital breathing on his own. In this day and age when so few people are willing to get involved my son acted promptly and remembered what to do. Those life ed courses in high school sure pay off!
