Hope everyone's holidays were full of Magic even if you did not get to go to WDW!!
Our trip was from 12/25-28th and a total surprise for our DS!
Cast:
Me (34): Tigger - always ready to bounce
disneyholic and planner
DH (33): SLEEPY dwarf - adoring hubby who could care less if WDW vanished .
but goes cuz it makes DS and me happy!
DS (4 1/2): SPACE RANGER BUZZ - loves Mickey but gets that twinkle in his eyes when he sees Minnie
Grandpa: POOH (there's always a Rumbly in his Tumbly!) - adores his grandson, is incapable of being SPONTANIOUS!
Grandma: FAIRY GODMOTHER -
spoils grandson, laughs at Grandpa (has to or she'll lose her mind!)
Act 1 Scene 1:
Tigger is up, showered and ready by 5:40am - good Tigger always ready to start the day.
Space Ranger must have had his radar working because the second Tigger was done he was wide awake.
Space Ranger told Tigger that he heard "HO HO HO Merry Christmas and needs to go check under the tree." He's off and back in a flash to inform Tigger that Santa came last night and everyone was on the Good List 'cuz there are lots of presents under the tree.
Tigger convinces Space Ranger to get dressed and eat something before Pooh and the Fairy Godmother come over and then everyone could open their gifts.
Meanwhile back in his warm bed Sleepy is still in dreamland. Now you know that Tigger's love to bounce so, Tigger and Space Ranger are off to bounce on Sleepy's bed (Sleepy is NOT a morning dwarf - but who cares it's Christmas and we're heading to WDW). Sleepy rolls out of bed and gets ready trying to ignore Tigger and Space Ranger who haven't stopped bouncing and singing.
Space Ranger and Tigger are alomost ready to explode so to help move things along they call Pooh and Fairy Godmother to make sure they are up and heading over (they live only 4 minutes away). They are up and getting ready to leave - Tigger and Space Ranger decide to wait by the front door convinced that this would make them arrive sooner.
Sleepy likes this cuz that means they stopped bouncing on him and he's back on the couch hoping for some more ZZZZZZZZZZs.
Act 1 Scene 2:
6:20 am Pooh and Fairy Godmother arrive at Space Ranger's house to open presents. They bring bagels cuz Pooh is always hungry. Space Ranger blasts through his gifts in record time. He finally opens his PAL Mickey, which Tigger ordered through Disney Merchandising 3 wks before just to make sure he had it before leaving, along with a book "WDW for Kids by Kids."
6:50am Tigger lets Space Ranger know that there is 1 more surprise present but we need to drive there because it's sooooo big. Everyone loads up into Pooh car (they packed the car the day before so Space Ranger never saw the suitcases), and they're on the road by 7am. Only 2 1/2 hours and they'll be at WDW!
