I just wanted to share a very magical moment that I had while at WDW this past December...
A little background...My fianceé (unfortunately STILL...*sigh*) and I have been together for seven years now and have been out for almost three decades combined. Neither of us have actually seen a family with gay parents and their kid/kids in person before though! We aren't recluses or anything, but for some reason we just have never met a family yet.
Well, I was eating at the POP food court on the last day of my trip and I glanced over to the table next to me and noticed two dads feeding their young kids! I tried not to stare, but the love between them was quite moving.
My fianceé and I have faced a lot of discrimination, violence, and rejection over the years and so it made me somewhat teary to actually see in-person that a couple had overcome all the negativity out there and be openly and lovingly sharing a meal together.
