I thought that the MK view at BLT would not be worth it (spoken from an AKV owner). So many points!

But ohhhh, it will be. I got a taste of it last weekend at Disneyland.

DH and I were attending an event in Anaheim, so we decided to stay the night at the Hilton Anaheim and spend the day at DLR the next day. The Hilton is across the street from DLR, for those unfamiliar. We checked in and asked for a theme park view. We were given the concierge level as expected. Our view was straight-on to the park- we could see right down Main Street. Incredible view of both parks. We were so excited that we cut our event short so we could watch the fireworks from our room. No, we couldn't hear them- no balcony- but we turned out all the lights and sat on the floor, watching. Incredible. I thought about how much better it would be with that MK view on your balcony! We could even see Tink and Dumbo fly.

When we went to bed, I could still see the park. I lay there in the dark and watched the crowds leave. It was just me and the park. It seemed so- magical. :wizard: I know that sounds nutty! I even woke up once during the night, there it still was. I knew the workers were cleaning and gardening and getting ready for us in the morning. Then the sunrise in the morning, as I had my coffee... ahhhh. I can't tell you how excited I was. There Disneyland was, just waiting for me. :goodvibes I guess only a true Disney nut would feel this way, but I know my fellow DVC owners will understand.

Bay Lake Tower owners, you get to OWN this feeling!

I am so excited for you!!

I'm so glad you had such a magical view!! Sounds like a wonderful trip!

Thanks for wonderful post! I had no idea that the Hilton offered such incredible views. Your description of looking straight up Main Street reminds me of the finale of Soarin'! I just bought at the Grand Cal so don't know if I will ever stay anywhere else at DLR, but a view like that might tempt me. My first trip home to BLT on 12/26 to 12/31 will be in a standard view but now I wonder if I should have gone for the MK view. There's always next time!
