over to Jillian for the DLR trip.
Had a great but exhausting weekend. We drove up to Napa on Saturday afternoon after having a great breakfast with all the kids. Texted my girlfriend and she told me there were at the Franciscan winery for some launch party. DH and I were starving at that point so we went to Dean&Deluca and got some yummy sandwiches/munchies to go. Found our friends at the winery, and got into their barrel tasting for free!

Then we went to their hotel and got ready for the wedding. Thought we were running late, but we got there in plenty of time. It was a gorgeous day, not too hot or cold, just right

The ceremony was pretty and SUPER short - seriously maybe only 10 minutes!!! Then it was cocktail reception. The food was yummy but it was definitely gourmet, little tiny bites - the crab cakes were the size of quarters!
Dinner was incredible also, but super slow between courses. I had to pace myself with the wine drinking or I would have passed out, I needed food in my tummy!
The families are middle eastern so they played that music during the dance floor and it was just crazy fun, everyone from grandma to little kids get out there and dance. And they do the whole put people on chairs and pass them overhead around the room. We had a blast.
DH drove home and I slept in the car

We got home around 1am. Got up 5 hours later for our drive to Santa Cruz for a 10K

I was tired and definitely feeling it - this is when running really is about 90% mental because if it was up to my body, I wouldn't have done it. Sheer mental willpower. I pushed myself to do it and even with the slow-you-down-water-breaks, I finished in less than an hour which is really good for me
