Thank you for the welcome. Ive been lurking for ages so feel I know you all anyhow

Im in the process of planning my 2nd trip to DL for this December- excited about seeing all the Christmas additions to the park. I went last year in October and loved the Halloween stuff

Oooh, Disneyland in December is wonderful. I love the Holidays at the Park and wish I could gob ack every day during that time of the year. I'm hoping I can find a way down there this year since that's when I renew my AP. Fat chance though, lol. I can always dream, right?

Yes im feeling really excited about it at the moment - we are doing a few days in DL then flying up to Vegas for another few days.

I love Disneyland Holidays! I am actually partial to Halloween though... That may be because it was my first time EVER to DL though! I loved having all the Villians out and about!

Hi! And Welcome! How exciting for your Holiday visit to DLR. For as many times as I have been to DLR I have never gone during the Holiday season. I went for Halloweentime last year too, and I loved it! I am hoping that this year I can make it for Halloweentime & during the Holidays.

And I like having some stuff to do when I get home. I usually catch up on the DIS while I eat because my tummy is so hungry. Then it's off to bed around 8a and I cross my fingers that I'll sleep more than 3 straight hours.

How funny, I do the same thing when I get off work. I grab something to eat and browse the DIS. Your work schedule sounds crazy, good thing it's not a permanent thing.

Oh... I probably won't have the update ready by 8... I guess that means you will get to read it when you get up!

I'm glad you like my TR. Lots more to come!!

Me too! Not always something to eat though.. It depends on if there is anything in the house!

Morning everyone!!! Today is Addy's 6th birthday. Hard for me to grasp it's been 6 yrs already! We got her at 2mths & the only birthday we missed was her 2nd one. She got sent back to her bio-mom right before her 2nd birthday & then we got her back about a month after. Sad we weren't a part of it, but so glad she's permanently ours now....don't have to worry about missing another one!!!

Chillaxin this morning, showers this afternoon & then when Mike gets home from work....we'll head to my mom's house for the BBQ. We picked up a cake last night & all the presents are wrapped & ready to go.

I have some pics posted of Addy thru the years in my Halloween PTR & tomorrow I'll post birthday pics!!!

I don't have any dates set yet. I know my sister and her husband wanna go, I don't know if we are gonna do a family trip with them, or if I am just gonna find a friend to go with or what. All I know is that I really wanna go!

nope I'm going to Las Vegas for a month

Yeah my stepdad is bipolar and was given a ton of chances to change his lies and behavioral issue......well you cant change someone....they have to be willing to change for themselves so my mom ended up divorcing him for the better. Sometimes those situations are just better off to leave.

That's very true. There are treatments for all these illnesses, but if the person dealing with them doesn't care or want to change.....it's just best to walk away. You can only do so much for a person.

I am going for a month.....I have no idea what clothes to take. Its been about 110-115 each day with some thunderstorms.....Do I take sweatshirts to keep the rain off of me?

I'm going to visit my boyfriend actually, he lives there. Last time I saw him was prom. We met on the disney Magic 2.5 years ago and still going strong!

Row! I would say just don't go outside in the thunderstorms! With those temps you would get heat stroke wearing a sweatshirt!

Wow a month.....that will be fun!! Congrats on keeping a long distance relationship going.....that's amazing!!

I definitely would not wear a sweatshirt....in that heat, the rain will dry as quick as it drops on you....in fact, you'll probably welcome a little water with those temps!! Just plan on the hot stuff & pack accordingly.
