A Very Chit-Chat Thread

What a talkative bunch, lol. Hope you're all off enjoying dinner! Just got home from eating out with the family. Now watching the Sharks/Red Wings game.

Hola!!

I am having lasagna. I was picking up Scotty so I was gone. And like all Fridays I was full of errands.

Hey guys! I am currently out at Boston Pizza. This town is insanely busy tonight and I think we've narrowed down the reasons for it being that's it's end of the month payday, and the oil rig guys are also on break-up (waiting for the ground to soften) and are all hanging around town causing trouble. The downsides of living in an oil town!

The town is bustling tonight!!

Doing alrighty. Still tired. I didnt get a lot of sleep last night so starting work at 5a was a killer. Now I'm just making signatures and watching the game (Sharks are down 1-0). Exciting, huh?

Hey guys! I am waiting for dinner to be delivered. But tomorrow night i am making a late Easter dinner. We went to my sisters for Easter and she made halibut. I really enjoyed it, Jon, not so much. So i promised him a traditional Easter dinner this weekend. So we will have ham with all the side dishes. The kids are happy with that plan as well.

Sounds almost as exciting as my errand running earlier.

Oh that sounds really good Chrissie. Kody hates ham so I never serve it.

Tessa is not thrilled about ham. But she will cope. If it was up to her we would live on chicken. I need more variety then that.

I'm doing OK. Been busy with things. Then of course I had to go last night to try and get some sleep. Not that that actually happened. Blech. Go figure.

Hope things have been well for you.

When we have pork she is usually happy if I serve her veggie patties.

I actually tasted a veggie burger at Costco awhile back, and it was very good. I didn't buy them, because my carnivore family would turn their noses up.

I have been making Jon smoothies every morning, and I have been adding yogurt to them. He hates yogurt, he thinks it is the most disgusting thing in the world. I told him recently that he has been consuming yogurt everyday in his smoothies. Now suddenly he claims he knew I was doing it all along because the smoothies tasted funny. He's full of crap, because everyday up until that point he has told me how delicious they were. if i had never told him, he would have happily drank them and never complained.

I'm glad you are doing well. :)

I have just been working and thinking about my son graduating next week. I am concerned with his lack of motivation at this point. So that has been keeping me awake. But, I'm sure it will all work out.

That makes me laugh, I've always made smoothies with yogurt. It never occured to me not to, lol. I wouldn't have expected anything less. :rotfl:

That is so typically masculine. All three of my kids love the veggie patties though. And the ones at Costco do taste really and I really like them until I noticed the olive taste. I do not like olives.

Oh Chrissie, I feel your pain. Kacy graduates in June. We have told her that she needs to get a part time job before she starts college, but the only thing she seems concerned with is getting more piercings and tattoos. I am going crazy.

Somehow it will. Even if it takes a rude awakening. I'm not going to lie and pretend like I'm the most motivated person in the world and I feel a little inadequate about it now and again to be honest, lol. But somehow it does. I'm hoping to finally move out this year. We shall see. A friend of mine is moving back into town and we've talked about looking into an apartment together. It's only taken me ... far too long.

Wait, that's probably not encouraging. :rotfl:
