Morning Everyone!

I'm SO TIRED! I slept good yesterday but woke up feeling like I had been run over by a truck! Still super tired!!

:rainbow:Woo Hoo Jillian!!! 2 Weeks!!!:rainbow:

Good thing you DID check with your boss......yikes!!
Oh yes, I don't know what I would have done if the new schedule came out and I was scheduled to work that whole week! It seems like we are always trying to fix his scheduling mistakes, at least once a month.

I hate that feeling! That usually happens to me when I have bad dreams. I wake up feeling all stressed out and tired.

Good morning! Came back on Saturday from the OC. Had a great week, got my DL fix and it was just so nice to be on vacation from the real world :thumbsup2 The only bummer was that I caught a cold on the tail end of the trip and I have been  the last couple of days. I went for a run this morning because I haven't run in forever and we have a 10K coming up on Sunday :scared: I am feeling it now :sad2:

DH is back to work today :firefight , gotta find something to do so DD7 doesn't drive me crazy. I need to stock up on groceries, so it might just be an errand day. Back to reality for sure :rotfl:

Let me share a couple of photos. One of the cutest things we did was take DD7 to Studio 365. She's been begging to do one of their makeovers for awhile now. For $20 they did this, and DD7 was in heaven. She got so many compliments and just had a blast walking around DLR with her "bow".

Hi Tania!! YAY glad you had fun! That bow is ADORABLE!!! I love it.
I hope you feel better soon. It's a good thing you only got sick towards the end of your trip, and weren't sick for the whole time.

Good afternoon!

Yay on only 2 weeks Jillian!! :woohoo: So exciting.

3 and a half weeks for us!!!

Tania, your DD's hair bow is so pretty! How cool. Are the pink streaks dye or fake hair? Glad you had fun, even though you got sick at the end.

I found a pair of my headphones!! At the bottom of my purse. Still in the plastic wrap, cause like I said, I hadn't used them yet. Must have put them there thinking that I would think to look there when I needed to use them. Apparently that was a bad spot. I found them looking for my keys. :rolleyes1

So I feel like I should be doing some planning, but I have no idea what... Maybe I will see if my mom will want to do a dinner on the day that she comes into the park. Then I can plan something, lol. Other than that, all I can plan is what to pack. I would like to make a reservation for a hotel to stay at on the drive down (can't do it in one shot this time!), but I don't have any idea where we will make it. Having Seth, it might take us longer than planned to get there. I want to try and make it to Salt Lake City, but who knows, lol. Last time I had 9 months and felt like I was planning like crazy. I now have 3 and a half weeks, and have planned next to nothing, lol.

Hi all!!

Andrea, sometimes not planning makes for a fun trip.

Tania, DD looks adorable!! I hope you had fun!!

Jillian, right around the corner!!

Hi Paula!!

Hi Jessica!!

So I've made some progress on planning!

We are gonna start driving when Dillon gets off work on the 12th and try and get down to Helena where I made a reservation at a Motel 6 for $55. Then on Saturday the 13th, we are gonna drive to Las Vegas, where I made another Motel 6 reservation for $35! Dillon wants to go to the Pinball Hall of Fame (of course!), so we will do that on the Sunday morning, then drive the rest of the way to LA. Then we have an extra half day in the LA area to go to the beach or whatever.

I am even more excited now that we've got some sort of timeline down! :woohoo:

Looks good Andrea.

Sounds like a great plan! I get more excited too when I have a sort of outline of my trip. I don't like planning every tiny detail, like I don't get how some people do these plans where every second of the day is written out. I remember reading a TR somewhere, and the person had a list of what time they were riding which ride, getting which FP, etc. :scared1: But having a basic structure is nice. :thumbsup2
$35 is a great deal on the Motel 6.

Wow have I had a long week. Went to the Calgary Stampede Rodeo Monday and Tuesday on my days off then worked my usual nights (10pm-6am) Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Saturday I tried to sleep but couldn't having accidentally slept for 13 hrs on Friday so at 11am I got up and went to the rodeo again. I got home around 7pm and had a nap then went in to work for 10pm-6am again. Sunday I'd asked for the day off for the rodeo and chuckwagon finals so I was up at 11am again and headed down to the Stampede grounds for almost 12 hrs... But while I was getting dressed I got a call from my supervisor offering me the chance to take a craps course at work (I work surveillance in a casino btw) so I had to be at work from 2:30-6:30 for the course then work 10pm-6am... I haven't slept since 8am and am completely exhausted.

This week I have the course again Tuesday-Thursday 2:30-6:30 and work Thursday-Saturday 10pm-6am. I'm taking 16 hrs of the course every week so they took out one of my 8 hr shifts giving me 48 hrs here every week until this is done but it basically means that I get Sunday off, work 4 hrs Monday & Tuesday, basically have to be at work or the course or between the two for 16 hrs on Wednesdays & Thursdays and then work 8 hrs Fridays and Saturdays for the next six weeks... I'm not sure I'm going to survive! :scared1:

Today would be a day that if I lived within an hour of Disneyland I would have headed there after work so I could ride California Screamin and Tower of Terror so I could SCREAM and SCREAM and there would be no questions asked!!!

I'm not sure I'm going to survive! :scared1:

This is how I feel. Between work and home I feel completely worn out. I just completed shift #4 in a row. I work one more.. then only have 1 day off... work one... have one off.. work 3... one off.. work one.. one off... work 5... one off... work one... then finally 2 days off!

Only having one day off at a time when working nights is just hard!

Actually just typing out my schedule made me tired!

Wow, both of your schedules sound a little crazy! Sounds very tiring. Would you eventually switch to days Paula? Nights is probably best for a casino, but still tiring.

I don't like planning every detail of our trip either. Just making a couple reservations and making sure we get to see a show we want to, helps when you plan for it. That's about all I want to plan really. This time we are going to try our best to see Fantasmic! as we didn't get to last time.

Also I have added another activity to our LA visit. The Grammy Museum! They have opened up a Michael Jackson exhibit with a bunch of his old costumes and fancy coats and stuff and I really want to see it. Since Dillon is doing the Pinball place, I get to go here! Lol. I am pretty excited!
