People praise our troops all the time and being a retired military man myself I'm glad they do. But people often forget that the police officers go to war for us everyday they are on duty.

I make it a point when I'm doing my miles to give a wave to every police officer that passes me.

That is such tragic news about Deputy Forgione. Bless him, his beautiful little family, his colleagues, and his community. To lose someone so young and so valuable to so many people, words cannot capture it.

Vic - This story is so very sad I have a brother who is a Sheriffs Deputy and can't imagine what this family is going through right now(including his police family because I know you are all brothers). My deepest sympathy to both of his families. I will keep you in my prayers.
