Im tossing around the idea of renting a tuxedo for our dinner at Palo. DW and I are only on a 4-night cruise and as such there is no formal night at all.

In addition, DW just got a nice new dress/gown for an event we're going to this weekend so she already has something really nice to wear and I'd like to match rather than just a shirt, tie, and dress pants (and vest). Plus, I like dressing up.

What do you all think? A tuxedo in Palo? Too Much/Dressy? Would I look out of place?

What about a Tux in Tritons for the regular dining rotation -- reason I'm asking that one is that I get two shirts so I could wear it on two occasions.

Thoughts?

We were on the 7 night and dh rented one for Formal night and ended up wearing it to Formal, Semi-formal and our Palo dinner (casual night for the rest of the group). We enjoyed dressing up and it was fine!

On the four night, you may not see many jackets on the men in Tritons (in my experience)...whether you feel comfortable is really personal preference!

We saw 1 tux on our 3 day cruise, but Im not sure if he was at Palo or Tritons that night as we just passed him on the stairs.
If DW already has a nice dress and you want to wear a tux, I say go for it. Its a perfect time to have some nice formal pictures done. ::yes::

I wore a tux on formal night & decided since I had another shirt to wear it to Palo.
