Remember our Veterans every day,
and give a little prayer,
They are the ones you should thank,
for the freedom you now share.

Honor the memory of the ones who died,
they died for you and me.
And thank the Veterans who still live,
they all kept our country free.

A thank you doesn't seem like much,
but it's all that I can say,
My thoughts, my heart and feelings,
go out to you, each day.

Happy Veterans Day to all our Veterans, especially to my Dad who was a Vietnam Veteran. He's been gone for over a year now, but I miss him and think of him often and am very proud of him and his service to our country.
