I bought my points through resale for SSR, VWL and OKW. Haven't received my membership handbook yet, but have 1 question. If I have left over points from 1 home resort that I can't bank anymore, can I transfer these points to my other resorts?

Doc, While the points may be transferred wouldn't they keep the same use year & if they are due to expire because they are out of the banking parameters, they will still expire on the same date?

I technically can try to rent out these points but most people need more points for a reservation.
Thank you so much for your replies. My resorts all have August UY. The one I have a problem with is the one I just got. Seller somehow borrrowed nearly all the points for 2008 (158 out of 160), which the real estate broker told me has to be used by July 31 of next year. Hey, it was a good deal at $81 per point and seller pays all the MF for 2007 and 2008, just couldn't pass that up. I will end up using most of it booking a trip for next year, but might have 30-40 points left over.I technically can try to rent out these points but most people need more points for a reservation.
I am actually thinking of asking my agent to combine all my contracts into 1 big Master contract before closing, since they are all August UY. Would that work and how would that change the situation with the points?![]()
Transferred points are supposed to maintain their home resort and UY, so according to the rules you would not be allowed to use the transferred AKV points at BCV at the 11-month window. However, limitations in MS' computer system have made it difficult for them to prevent transferred points from changing identity (we refer to it here as "point morphing") and some members have taken advantage of this to get around the rules. Many of us believe that members exploiting point morphing is what caused MS to limit transfers to one per UY. Transferred points are tracked manually and by limiting members to one transfer per UY, it makes it easier for MS to see where those transferred points came from.Wait a sec... I'm confused (and possibly hopeful.)
I have 185 AKV points that I bought directly from Disney. Let's say I bought a 100 point BCV contract resale.
Does this mean I could transfer my 185 AKV points to my BCV contract (using up my one transfer per year for each of my two contracts), and then take all 285 BCV points and use them in the 11-month window?

So the answer to your question about using AKV points at BCV at the 11-month window is that if MS is paying attention, they will catch it and not allow it.
