A Timing Question

How long does it take to get from AK to the Poly and then to the GF using Disney transportation? Would taking a taxi be any faster? If so by how much?

We are taking the Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP tour that ends around 3:30 in AK. The same day we have an ADR for V&A's Chef Table with a 5:00 arrival time. I'm trying to figure out if we can complete the tour, get to the Poly and change, and then make it to the GF on time.

I have never taken that tour, but if it ends at 3:30 somewhere in AK, you then have to walk outside (10 min?) and take a bus to the Polly, wait time is always a question. Get inside to your room once there, change, then got to the GF. You can walk from the Polly to GF in 10 min or less (maybe more if you are dressed up in heels or something, but I rarely have heels on). The resort monorail goes that direction and is a shorter trip but you have to wait for the monorail to arrive, meaning it could be more or less than a walk depending on luck.

A cab ride from AK to the polly shouldn't take more than 15 min. Bus would be more, but is hard to say how much more because the wait time for a bus could be 0 or 20 min. I would just take a taxi or uber if you are into that technology, from AK to the Polly. Then walk or monorail over to the GF after changing.

I'd cab it. It took us forever to get from AK to the GF on the bus on a not-very-crowded day two weeks ago. I'd imagine getting to the Poly is similarly time-consuming.
