A ticket/room key question

Hello! I hope someone can answer this question for me

We have a MYW package booked for next month, with free dining. My parents have AP's, and they have 2 5-day park hopper plus's that they bought last year, but didnt use at all. They are giving the PHP's to my kids, and we plan to upgrade them to MYW 10 day hoppers. The four of them are booked in one room, and have the 1 day base tickets. I am booked in the 2nd room, with a 10 day MYW ticket. (Which is GREAT for me because all of the kiddo's room "charges" will be charged to my parents room )

So here's the question. Can they "remove" the one day base tickets from the kids room keys, give us paper tickets for those, and have the 10 day MYW tix added to their keys??? It would be easier for them to have only 1 card to hold onto, and that way they wouldn't accidently swipe their room key and use the 1 day base by mistake. Do you think this can be done??

I would call guest services at your resort and ask.

you will lose the pluses in the upgrade. I would keep the tix as is.
if you wanted to go ahead with the upgrade, why not include the 1-day base in the equation and have the front-desk CM do it at check-in?
