that's anna's favorite princess! although she doesn't really get referred to as a princess too often. but her dad's the chief, so i think she's a princess. anyway, i'm so excited for them to see this show when we go in december! none of them have ever been to DHS (or to MGM, for that matter). it's gonna be fun! i think luke will LOVE toy story mania!
i don't know exactly what this is but it's cool!!!
i will be heartbroken if anna and company don't get to see the boat in december. i hope they get enough of a negative response from this to bite the bullet and just include it every night. i hope jill gets to see it tonight!
thanks for the update! i so wish i was with them. i think we all do! i bet they're watching the end of fantasmic right now. i will close my eyes and pretend i'm there with them......seeing the boat come around the corner!!!
She did get a boat. She was quite happy!
That one picture is just of some fireworks.
Oh, I hope Jill gets to see the boats! That is such a fun part of Fantasmic!
Thanks for all the pics!
You're welcome. We get to see Fantasmic again next month!
I never noticed Prince Eric's mullet before.
Oh, yeah; Dawn says it's a requirement for Eric.
Memom, glad Drew is doing better, will keep him in my prayers,
Get Well Soon Drew
He's hurting quite a bit this morning. He just got up groaning, and I gave him another pain pill.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILL. I know you had a magical day. HAppy to hear the Drew is home and will be okay. A hearing loss is better then brain damage. Anywho great TR again. I enjoy reading them.
He already had a slight hearing loss in both ears, too. When he was a baby, he had ear infections constantly. At fourteen months to the day, he began walking. I think a lot of that lateness had to do with his equilibrium being off all the time with the ears. He had tubes put in both ears, which eased the ear troubles, but a little damage had already taken place. With this new injury, though, it's going to be more than slight. He says he can hear very little in his right ear. I told him he's going to have to really train himself to listen carefully when people are talking to him so that he doesn't miss something. I said a couple of things to him in passing yesterday, and as I walked on past, I heard him ask his friends what I had said.
Glad to hear Drew is doing better and I thought your ER observations were hillarious.
When I saw the picture, for some reason I thought of this song. It is from a great Canadian band called Great Big Sea and the song is called the Mermaid (a traditional Newfoundland song). Have a listen to the sample and you will hear why.

I like to watch people. They certainly can be interesting and often entertaining.
I'll check out the song.
I hope Jill gets the boat tonight!
She did!
Awesome Fantasmic pictures! Those are great! Were you really close or do you have a great zoom? Or both?

We were at the very back the one time we saw Fantasmic so the characters looked like ants!
Sounds like Jill is having a nice birthday!
We were mid-center, about 10-12 rows back. I was very pleased with the zoom on the camera. I used it a lot!
I was thinking the same thing!!!
He needs a haircut!
Main Street does have a barber shop!
I did a walk for ALS yesterday with my boyfriend and his family, and then went out for a friend's birthday, and worked today and caught up on the homework that I've been putting off

so I just read now about Drew. I am so sorry that happened, but I was SO glad to read that he's fine and doing as well as he can be doing after such a thing. I will keep him in my prayers.
I will say that your ER observations cracked me up even though I was so worried when I was reading! The lady in the wheelchair reminded me of a woman that comes into my work sometimes.
Your Fantasmic pictures are fantastic, like always.

Was Jill there tonight for her birthday? I hope that she got the boat version for her birthday!
Good for you walking for ALS. It sounds like you've had a very busy weekend.
The lady in the wheelchair was one of the crankiest people I have seen in a while. I couldn't really see a reason for it, either, since she didn't seem like she was in any pain. She was looking around at people, trying to make eye contact, as she was complaining and talking very loudly, like she just wanted attention.
Yes, Jill was there tonight. That was her choice for her birthday - riding Toy Story Midway Mania, eating at Pizza Planet, and watching Fantasmic.

Pocannonas!!

I love little kid talk!
She called me from Fantasmic and said "My watchin' Fam-taz-mitch!"
Memom. Your Fantasmic pictures are awesome!!! I see things in your pictures I never noticed when I was there. I've never sat that close nor have I gotten pictures that clear. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad Drew is doing better and I'll continue to pray for him and for his hearing. Remember our God is the Great Physician.
Cathy
Zooming in with this camera let me see a lot of details up on the mountain that I hadn't really seen too well before.
Drew is definitely better off than we had originally thought, but he is hurting this morning. He's trying to go back to sleep right now, but it hurts when he rolls over in bed.

this just cracks me up! the first time we saw "voyage of the little mermaid" and eric appeared, my DH (who was a disney newbie at the time) said, "who is that?" i whispered, "that's prince eric." and he responded by sitting there a second and then said, "man....he's got a rockin mullet."

now he refers to him as prince mullet instead of prince eric.
Has Ray ever had a mullet? If so, feel free to share his picture. Don't tell him you're doing it, though. You would get in big trouble!
Hmmmmm.....that's a good question. But even if I had said it was for 'his' birthday he prob wouldn't have let me go back one month later
It was more fun than I could imagine!
What an AWESOME PIC!!!
Yeah, I don't think you could get away with taking him to WDW for his birthday.
I know you had fun Saturday! You can see the energy and excitement in your pictures.
That picture did turn out well. I just kept snapping and was lucky to get a couple of good ones.
sorry to here about Drew, glad to hear he is doing better.
great update and pics.
Happy belated birthday Jill.
11 days and I will be at WDW.
Lucky you. I hate that you are just missing Jill by a little bit.
It seems like no time since you postponed your other trip, and now it's time for this one. That wasn't so bad, after all, and you still have your other trip to look forward to!
I hope you all have a good Monday. We thank you for all of your kind thoughts this weekend.
On a side note: The Presidential debate for tomorrow night is coming from Belmont University here in Nashville. Our librarian gets to be one of the guests. That's pretty cool, I think. The city is a very busy place right now as it prepares for this. They've been talking about it all over the news.
