We were splitling our stay between GF and AKL. The time at AKL was out down time. We did do the Sunrise safari and AK until noon on ur first full day there.
We checked in about 7:00. Joe was our guide. He got our luggage from storage because we sent ot over from the GF. I was expecting to have to check-in but he just took us to our room. Well the lobby is in the center of the resort and we started for our room on the 4th floor. Well we walked and walked and walked and finally came to our room. I was real worried about mom but she hung in there. We were in one of the 2 room at the end of the hall. This is a great location because it is quieter and a little more private. If you don't mind the hike. When we first went into the room all I saw was a den with a sleeper sofa and and kingsize bed in the bedroom. Now we were given the wrong room when we chekced in at the GF so I said ,"Not again. How are we suppose to sleep 3 adults and 2 10 year olds in this room. " Joe just calmly told me," Mame, you didn't look down the hall." I didn't even look to my right upon entering the room. Joe was right there was a half bath and down from there there was a second bedroom with 2 queens and another bathroom. That balcony offered a view of another savannah. We were quiet surprised and instantly fell in love. I think that the other berdoom can be locked off if you just need a 1 bedroom suite. It was a lovely suite.I really love that resort. The service there rfom the cast members was 100%. Thr Grand really paled in comparision.
The shower in the master bath is large enough for a entire family to shower at once. Not that we did however. If you need more info just ask.
