Kevin I was lurking in chat last night and seems like you have a new, possibly first, Mac. I assume there is an Apple store in the Orlando area. I would suggest looking into one of their workshops. I have done their iPhone workshop and they are pretty good and free! I do believe they have one for new Mac computer owners as well.

This is an awesome idea.

It's weird. It's like I know where I am....but dont know how to get where I want to go.

I'm sure I will pick it up, but it's going to take a while.

I'll let you know how I make out.

Thanks for the suggestion.

No problem what so ever! And what is better than the Apple store anyway. It is like a grown ups Chucky Cheese!!

Kevin, Congrats on your New Mac! You can sign up to receive email from Apple any time they offer their seminars in your area. They offer sessions in lots of topics. Enjoy, and welcome to the Mac Owner Family.

I sat in the apple store for almost an hour playing and picking out my new one... :thumbsup2

Kevin, if you are real close to a Apple store check out the one to one training. I got a year of training for about 100.00 Each session is one hour and you can do one once a week. It really helped me with the new Mac Mini and it is a GREAT rate

I have another suggestion. Sell it and buy three PC's for the same price.....:rotfl: Afterall, who needs a computer made from unicorn tears....

:lmao:

ps I am totally kidding around, so please mac fans, don't burn my house down.

That is very funny and I used to be a sworn pc user until in the span of 1.5 weeks both my desktop and my laptop came down with blue screen of death. And I'm comp literate, don't open unknown emails let alone attachments. It is so worth the extra $$ to not have to deal with that. Still stuck with a PC at work and a few times each day it makes me want to throw my mouse at my office wall.

You'll be used to the Mac in no time:thumbsup2

Hey Kevin, I'm a Mac specialist at my local Apple store. Please don't ever hesitate to PM me with any questions you have.:thumbsup2

I have heard this from someone else too. I was thinking about doing this for myself to help me et up and running on Aperture.

I will tell you that the folks in the stores are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help, in my experience.
