Everybody is different and special in their own unique way! I want to start a special thread. I am going to begin by saying my name, favorite color, and a few interesting things about me. After I write about those things, you will continue with " My name is _________________". Easy right? Ok here we go!

My name is Carissa and I am going to be a junior in high school. My favorite colors are aqua and sandy tan. I am really short for my age (not even 5 ft) and have one lung since 5th grade. These things trouble me alot in life so far. Two things that give me relief during these times are working with young kids and going to Disney.

It's nice to talk to someone on DisBoards that kinda knows what it's like to be a little bit different from others. I'm sorry that you and I have to go these things.

I used to dance too, but then I couldn't keep up other more experienced kids my age. I LOVE to sing in competitions though. I have been in over 8 these past 3 years or so. Do you read Kingdom Keepers? I have read this series since around 7th grade. If not, it's a book based on Disney World villians and the park. How far have you gotten with studying Disney stuff? I might want to try that sometime!

My favorite colors are Ariel Aqua, Cinderella Cerulean, and Rainy Sunshine (First two are from Crayola: Disney pack and last one is from the deluxe 500 pack of Crayolas-I am slightly obsessed with crayons). My favorite things to do are sing (horribly might I add), act (theatre), travel, and go to DISNEY!

That's pretty cool that you are bilingual. I wish I could speak two different languages. Preferably english and spanish/ french. I doubt you sing horrible and I bet acting is fun. I actually forgot to add to my 1st post that I love to travel too! <3 I moved many times since I was born. That probably contributes to the like of going on adventures. Disney Rox!

It sounds like a lot of people responding to my post are pretty tall! It's definately different from being short.
What type of purple do you like? Violet or maybe dark purple?
I used to do gymnastics. I enjoyed it. I'm not exactly sure why I stopped?!

I'm gonna be a sophmore, and I don't remember how tall I am(I know, lame, but it's not that important to me). I like all the colors ands my favorites change a lot, but right now it's red. I love to read and I LOVE to write stories. I want to be an author when I grow up, and I want to write fiction novels and maybe screenplays(writing a Disney screenplay would be awesome). I also like to act, just for fun, and to RP(roleplay). It combines my loves of acting and writing, and it's fun. I like to listen to music and play my violin as well. I LOVE Disney and traveling too. I leave for California tomorrow, and the trip contains two days of Disneyland! I can't narrow it down to one, but my favorite disney movies are Tangled, The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, the POTC series, Brother Bear, Princess and the Frog, Cars, and Up. I absolutely can't wait for Brave to come out! Besides Disney, I also like Marvel, The Lord of the Rings, and Harry Potter.

I have synesthesia/ideasthesia which makes me associate the months of the year as being in very particular points in space and having specific colors to them. I love to read, and have been reading since before I even realised I could read, and learned by watching my TV subtitles.
My nickname is Chacha, which was given to me when my cousin couldn't pronounce my name and said Chacha instead.

I really don't have two favorite colors like I posted- I love them all! I also love to write stories and songs. I mainly did that a few years ago. I still continue to draw cakes. They all have a place in a binder in my room. Each cake has different themes. One day, I hope a lot of people get to see them!
I have a friend named Anastasia (Stacie) that lives here in PA, but moved from New Jersey. Is it nice there? I like the Lion King also!!

you seem awesome. We have alot of similarities! I am not to sure what I choose for my career in the future, but I have lots of options. I may want to be a X-ray tech at a children's hospital, a Headstart ( pre-k) teacher, work as Tinkerbell or Alice at Disney World in Orlando, or an author. I am mainly looking into the 1st three though.

That's really interesting about your ablility in associating points and objects to months. I enjoy learning about these things in people and such. I read sometimes, mainly Kingdom Keepers and some other books. No offense or anything, but your post is the shortest I have to respond too!

I would also like to be part of the Disney College Program someday too! Guitar playing can become a really awesome activity. Music reading is kind of difficult for me so I dont do it much. I played in the band at school with 2 different instruments ( bells & clarinet) in Mississippi. I got discouraged and the enviorment that I had to put up with was frustrating.
But I dont know if you read in any of the previous posts that I LOVE to sing! It's my life and the one thing I can show others without being discriminated.
... I get so serious when anyone talks about Disney that I am not included in most of all!

Congrats about your trip to Disney! My next trip is August 9 of this year. Yes, Sarah's (mickeyisbeast) user sounds very familiar.
I had a guy in mind at Mississippi that I wanted to ask out before I moved, but he had a different gender in mind that I didnt know about so I am searching for a new guy here in PA. So far, guys for me in this location are either jerks or immature.
I also love to daydream and i like light pink (hot pink sometimes too)!
