On our last evening at WDW on 6/29, my DD and her friend decided to go to Downtown Disney Marketplace to do some last minute shopping, while DH and myself stayed back at the resort and did some last minute packing and cleaning.

DD had decided to look for and purchase the SpectroMagic CD for me as this is my favorite parade and I had been looking for the CD. She mentioned to the cast member working the cash register that she was so happy to find this CD for her mom who loved SpectroMagic more than anything. The Cast Member reached beneath the counter and gave her two Tinkerbell pins... they say... One for You and One to Give. She told her that you could not buy the pins anywhere there and that since she was doing something nice for someone that she deserved something nice in return! My DD was sooooo excited!!! Tinkerbell is also my favorite character. Not only had she bought my CD... she was able to bring me back a very special Tinkerbell "Where dreams come true." pin.

It was awesome! If only this cast member knew the excitement that she had given my daughter. It was truly a magical moment for her ... and for me also.

Wow! Its the small magical moments that make WDW so wonderful:wizard:
I think its even more special that you have raised a daughter that takes joy in doing things for other people. That's magic:thumbsup2 Congrats!!

:) Thank you so much for the compliment!!

I will be sure to share that with my DD. She is really a good girl. As a matter of fact, she spent every penny of the money that she took with her to buy gifts for other people. She loves to do that and see their face when she gives them the gift.

WOW! That is AMAZING!!!
So when you least expect it, the magic of WDW come shining through!

Wow!
You have me excited about our upcoming trip!

Thanks for sharing!

wow can we seee a pic of the pin of would really like to see i

My DD6princess: also got a set of tinkerbell pins and my DH:love: got a set too on a different day! NO pins for mommy who arranged the whole trip:mad: Anyway, my DD was showing a CM her loose tooth and she was given a set. My DH and us were standing near a CM eating a snack and talking. Another guest asked the CM a question which my hubby jumped right in to answer so the CM thanked him with the pins. They are beautiful and hav eonly further fueled our new pin addiction. :cool1:

We had a similar encounter last October in Epcot. DH was asked to take pictures of a family on the bridge near England/France. It was about 7pm so he had the family choose a few diffrent places to get the lagoon, England, France & looking toward the Beach Club. As we went by the viewing are after the bridge, a CM called my DH over. He also gave him the Tinker Bell one to have & one to share pins. He was thrilled. Then we were offered to view Illumations on the lower level as a wedding was being held on the upper. It was awesome. There was about 12-15 people total so you could move about & get pictures. Random acts of kindness are rewarded in many specal ways!!:cool1: :cool1:
