I am very sad...
We just got back home from our trip and I'd rather still be there!
We were there from June 3-10. We didnt eat out much because we stay in FW Cabins so we plan to cook in a lot. This time though we brought a lot of stuff home.
First night we went to DD and ate at Earl of Sandwich. I have always wanted to try this and it will be a dont miss from now on. I had the Original, (the beef was tender and tasty, the bread hot and crusty, great horseradish bite) DH had the BBQ Beef, DD18 had the Full MOntague, and DDBF18 had a BBQ ham sandwich (I forget what its called) Everyone loved their sandwiches and DD and BF ended up going back later in the week.
First full Day we went to Epcot and then walked over to Beaches and Cream to try the hamburgers for lunch. We got there around 12:30 and got seated right away. We all had the cheeseburger, some with Fries some with O rings, except DD who had the chili. The burgers were good but not any better than say...Fuddruckers, DD liked her chili.
Monday we went to Biergarten for lunch. This is our must stop restaurant. The food was the same as usual, chicken schnitzel, sausages, pork loin, roasted chicken, lots of sides and vegetables and salads and of course desserts. Everything I tasted was great. DH had the beer sampler too.
Tuesday I had to go to Tampa but the rest of my group went to Rose and Crown for lunch! I cant believe they went without me! All I had was Boston Market. Anyway...DD had chicken curry, DH had cottage pie and BF had Chicken pasty. They all had different desserts too. They said everything was great.
Wednesday was kind of a big eat day. DH and I started out with Trails End Buffet breakfast. Very good. Eggs were kind of dry though. For lunch, DD and BF and I went to Big River Brewery while DH played golf. I had the meatloaf which was just OK. DD had chicken alfredo penne pasta which she liked except that I ordered extra mushrooms on my meatloaf and they put them on her alfredo instead and she doesnt like them. So I got a double order!
BF had a blackened mahi mahi sandwich which he liked a lot. We were planning to go to MK for extra Magic hours late so I didnt eat until we got there and had a Pecos Bill burger which was very dry. Before that though, DD and BF went to Cheesecake Factory at Millenia Mall. They loved it and brought back FRIED MACARONI AND CHEESE! Sounds weird but it was REALLY good. They make a ball of Mac & Cheese and bread it and fry it!
Thursday we went off site for lunch (steak and Shake) and then DH and I hit Trail's End for a late dinner. We really liked the ribs, ravioli, beef barley soup, green beans with shredded carrots, roast beef, kielbasi. The chicken was just so-so. DD and BF hit Earl of sandwich again.
All in all we were pleased with our experiences. We go back in Dec so we will be watching these boards for recommendations to try some new places
